NHS East of England wants to improve services so that the majority of patients are no more than 30 minutes away from a place of treatment.
The Beccles and Bungay area has been identified as one which could benefit from the new proposals for renal dialysis services. The nearest unit for people in Waveney at the moment is the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston. The exact location of a proposed base has not yet been decided.
Patients are being asked to have their say at a meeting tomorrow at 2-4pm at the Celebration Suite at the Burrage Centre at the James Paget.
