MEMBERS of the public stopped to help capture a horse yesterday (Sunday) after it was found running loose on the A12 in Suffolk.
Suffolk police received a number of calls reporting a 'very distressed' horse galloping along the road at Frostenden, near Wrentham, at about 8.45am.
The animal apparently bolted from a field after becoming frightened when the rug on its back fell off.
It was caught and returned to the field by the time police officers arrived on scene.
