With the holiday season in full swing, the church welcomes many visitors, as well as relishing the opportunity to renew friendships with past members who return to the area for their vacations. Some Christ Church folk are currently on their annual walking holiday in the Lake District, whilst some of the teenagers are on camps in Derbyshire.

On Sunday, the 10am morning prayer service will be led by Richard Nicholls with the Rev Matthew Payne continuing the current series of sermons on Faith in the Credit Crunch, with the subject this week being Let Someone Else Worry, based on Matthew 6 verses 25-34. At 6.30 pm there will be holy communion and the continuation of Paul's School of Prayer, with Peter Williams speaking on Challenging Prayer from Colossians chapter six. All welcome.

For details of all the activities, which take place at Christ Church, please call the church office on 01502 584557 (mornings).
