Christmas lights thanks
WE wish to thank everyone who made their kind donations for our Christmas lights display at 110 Corton Road, both for 2007 and 2008.As our daughter (who is a midwife) was on maternity leave last year, after having her twins girls, we kept the money from 2007 and added it to the 2008 total enabling us to donate 1,000 to the maternity unit at the James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
WE wish to thank everyone who made their kind donations for our Christmas lights display at 110 Corton Road, both for 2007 and 2008.
As our daughter (who is a midwife) was on maternity leave last year, after having her twins girls, we kept the money from 2007 and added it to the 2008 total enabling us to donate 1,000 to the maternity unit at the James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
With the sum of money they are purchasing two specialist stools which will help the midwives assist new mothers learning to feed their babies as well as protecting the midwives backs when conducting procedures during labour.
Once again, thank you to everyone who donated and also to our loyal neighbours who manage to put up with the numerous cars stopping outside our house to look at the lights.
We hope everyone will come again and see our display for 2009.
