POLICE are seeking information after a cigarette scam in Lowestoft.A 52-year-old woman and her adult son were sitting on a bench near the Station Square end of London Road North last Friday, March 6 at around 12.
POLICE are seeking information after a cigarette scam in Lowestoft.
A 52-year-old woman and her adult son were sitting on a bench near the Station Square end of London Road North last Friday, March 6 at around 12.20pm when they were approached by two men who offered to sell then cigarettes at a discount rate.
They agreed and the son walked up London Road North with the two men until they asked him to wait while they got the cigarettes. The man handed over cash but the two suspects never returned.
The two men police need to trace are both white, with one described as aged in his late 20s to early 30s and wearing a baseball cap and dark jacket, the other in his 20s and wearing a white fleece top, jeans and trainers.
