The meeting on October 15 was opened by chairman Harold Whitewood who after a few announcements introduced, vice chair Roger Bellham for a nostalgic evening of films from yesteryear from the 60s onwards being shown on the club's projectors. His programme included Out and About, Little Mum, Village Thrills, Spud and Duffy, To Late, All In A Days Work, George And The Dragon, Brief Encounter, Dead On Six, and ended with For Those In Peril On The Sea, a good selection, which most members enjoyed. The workshop meets every Tuesday 7.30pm at the studio film theatre which aims to teach all aspects of the art of film and video production. Next week the audio tape competition and members bring a film night. Any organisation who would like to watch a show of films can hire the venue which can seat 50 in a 30 style cinema, for further information contact Marion Whitewood on 01502 587108
