Closed stores could become shopping mall
I BELEIVE that we could make better use of the two buildings that have shut in Lowestoft: Woolworths and Somerfield, by making a shopping mall and having a bridge between to make it one big building.

It would have to be styled nicely. I would have massive glass windows and an attractive walkway and would like it to be a much nicer environment than what we currently have in town.
One side of the mall could be clothing shops and the other for media products.
This would also make good use of the Somerfield car park as it could be used as parking for the mall and would declutter the high street.
The mall would also help the economy as more adults and teenagers would be encouraged to spend more money in a nicer environment.
It would also help to stop the vandalism and crime that goes on in the town as young people would have somewhere to go and spend some time. You could also have trendy bars and restaurants so when people visit Lowestoft they don't think the only restaurants we have are fast food.
