An “amazing” real life story of transformation will be highlighted this weekend.

Reformed criminal and ex-drug addict Clyde Thomas will be the guest speaker as Lowestoft Community Church introduce their next Alpha course this Sunday, April 29.

Now a church minister in Wales and director of a network of drug and alcohol rehabilitation centres Mr Thomas will tell his story, and the lives transformed as a result of his journey, at the church on Hadenham Road.

He will be speaking as part of the usual Sunday service at Lowestoft Community Church which starts at 10am, with refreshments served from 10am and following the service. There will be children’s work available during the talk for toddlers up to school year 6. Guests and visitors can also receive a welcome gift bag if they visit the welcome team on a Sunday morning.

A church spokesman said: “Come and hear his amazing story of transformation!”
