A community event and festive fun will be held at a care home in Oulton Broad this month.
The Barchester Healthcare-run Oulton Park Care Centre, in Union Lane, is inviting the community to attend an event on Thursday, December 14.
A spokesman for the care home said: 'A dementia café, in partnership with the Lowestoft Remember Me Club, will be held. The first event took place last month, which was opened by the deputy mayor, and was well attended. We hope that more people can join us this time as the café runs from 2pm to 4pm on December 14. There will be free refreshments available and Pauline, from the Remember Me Club, will be available to offer any advice.'
The care home will host its annual Christmas craft fair on Sunday, December 17 from 2pm to 4.30pm. There will be various homemade arts and crafts stalls, refreshments and a raffle. If you are interested in having a stall contact Andrea Pullinger or Heidi Innes on 01502 539998.
