A project, which was successfully launched for families in Lowestoft earlier this year, will be running once more next week.
After a successful launch of the scheme, entitled FISH – Food In School Holidays – in May and during the summer holidays, the Lowestoft Community Church and the Carlton Road Salvation Army have teamed up once more to help support vulnerable families in the community.
Running next Friday, October 27 a free breakfast – bacon rolls, cereals and so forth – will be available between 9.30am and 11.30am for families, along with a little craft and fun, at the Carlton Road Salvation Army base.
A spokesman said: 'We need families to book in to the meals, either by contacting the Lowestoft Community Church office on 01502 537527, or visit www.lowestoftcommunitychurch.co.uk
'It's all free and everyone is welcome as long as they have school aged children.'
