Con man warning
POLICE are keen to trace a man who was calling at homes in the Crowhurst Close area of Carlton Colville on Friday.He called at homes between 4pm and 5pm asking to look at electricity boxes.
POLICE are keen to trace a man who was calling at homes in the Crowhurst Close area of Carlton Colville on Friday.
He called at homes between 4pm and 5pm asking to look at electricity boxes.
Police believe there is a possibility he is linked to a distraction burglary which occurred in Stradbroke Road in the town on Monday afternoon in which cash was taken from the home of an 87-year-old man.
The man involved is described as in his mid to late 50s, of chubby build, wearing a blue shirt under a light summer jacket and was carrying a clipboard.
