LUCKY schoolchildren from Corton Primary have pitted their ball skills against eight other school teams at Norwich City Football Club.

The children won a prize of a day at the ground which also included a tour of the club, meeting two Norwich City players and training.

Before they were chosen children had to think of ways their school promoted healthy living, mentioning lessons and assemblies on the human body, how they are affected by what they eat and the importance of exercise.

After school clubs, which include football, cricket, rugby training, basketball, dancing, yoga and cookery were also highlighted, along with the free fruit and healthy snacks available.

The school received a letter telling them their entry had been outstanding with the reward of a day at Carrow Road, a huge goodie bag and an engraved medal.
