Police are appealing for information after a robbery on a train at Lowestoft Railway Station around 8pm yesterday.

A man walked onto a train waiting in the station, spoke to a 20-year-old man and 21-year-old woman on the train and then pulled out a knife. He threatened them into handing over their wallets and the offender then left the train.

Both wallets were later found in the Hervey Street area of Lowestoft.

The offender is described as white, of medium build, with tattoos on both arms and was wearing a black T-shirt and jeans. He appeared to be with a woman described as being of large build with short ginger/ reddish coloured hair who was wearing a black top and may also have had tattoos.

Do you know who they are? Or did you see them in the area around this time?

British Transport Police are investigating this offence and are working closely with Lowestoft CID following two other similar robberies in the town earlier this week.

Anyone with information should call British Transport Police on 0207 380 1400.
