Emergency services were pressed into action after a collision between two cars.
Suffolk Police were alerted by the East of England Ambulance Service at 2.05pm yesterday (February 14) following reports of a crash on Colville Road in Lowestoft.
Upon arrival at the scene, it was discovered that a black Nissan Micra and a red Mercedes had collided on the junction where the road meets Westwood Avenue.
Those involved in the crash escaped with minor injuries and, after they received medical attention, the Ambulance Service was subsequently stood down.
Meanwhile, the police's Safer Neighbourhood Team for Lowestoft assisted with traffic control while a vehicle recovery team cleared the cars from the road and ensured that the scene was safe.
