VITAL crime reduction messages were being spread throughout the camping sites at the Latitude festival today (Friday).
PCSO's from Suffolk police were out in force this morning as they spoke to festival goers encouraging all those attending the event to be vigilant, to report any suspicious behaviour and to take some simple crime prevention measures to try to reduce the number of crimes over the weekend.
A limited number of bags - like these that are pictured - were given out to early arrivers to try to encourage them to store valuables within their sleeping bags during the festival, in a bid to prevent thefts.
