Cyclist hurt in collision in Lowestoft

EARLY morning traffic had to be diverted following a collision between a car and a cyclist in Lowestoft.

Police and the ambulance service were called to London Road South at around 7.

EARLY morning traffic had to be diverted following a collision between a car and a cyclist in Lowestoft.

Police and the ambulance service were called to London Road South at around 7.55am on Monday morning reporting a collision between a car and a cyclist.

A man, believed to be in his 40s, was cycling in the road when he collided with a silver Toyota Avensis and suffered a minor head injury.

Officers subsequently put diversions in place at Rectory Road but the scene was cleared by 9am.
