A cyclist was taken to hospital after being involved in a crash in Lowestoft.

Suffolk Police were called at 2.55pm on December 26 following reports of a collision between a car and a bike on Tom Crisp Way.

Upon arrival at the scene, it was found that a man in his 20s - who was conscious and breathing - had come off his bike and sustained cuts to his face.

He was subsequently taken by ambulance to James Paget Hospital in Gorleston as a precaution.

In the meantime, the roundabout leading to Bloodmoor Road was temporarily closed, before reopening at 3.55pm.
