Cyclist steals sat nav in Lowestoft

A SATELLITE navigation system was stolen after a quick-witted thief broke into a white Toyota parked in Lowestoft.

The vehicle had only been left unattended in St Peters Street for a few minutes when the theft happened around 7.

The vehicle had only been left unattended in St Peters Street for a few minutes when the theft happened around 7.55pm on Tuesday, November 4.

A man, described as white, in his late 20s to early 40s, tall, and wearing a light coloured bobble hat, a light coloured jacket and jeans, rode up to the vehicle on a light coloured mountain bike, broke in, took the sat nav and cycled off towards the college. Anyone with information about the incident or the thief should telephone Lowestoft police on 01986 835300.
