A DANGEROUS dog injured a 13-year-old boy after attacking him on a Lowestoft park.

The teenage boy suffered bite marks to his arm after the attack by a white dog - described as being similar to an English bull terrier with a red patch around one of its eyes - in Broadwaters Park, Broadwaters Road, at about 3.50pm last Friday, November 27.

The boy was on his way home when the dog came up to him and started jumping up. He was then bitten on the arm three times.

A white man, in his late teens to 20s, wearing a black hooded top was with the dog, and he came over and pulled the dog away before walking off towards Broadwaters Road. The 13-year-old received treatment from his doctor for the minor bite marks.

Police are asking the dog owner - or anyone who knows who he is - to come forward. Anyone who saw the incident or who has information should call Lowestoft police on 01986 835300.
