Archant

This was the moment a moped drove the wrong way down the road, narrowly missing an oncoming vehicle.

The dashcam footage was filmed by Frank Grey as his car joins the A12 at the roundabout near the Morrisons in Pakefield, Lowestoft.

The video shows a moped come off the roundabout at a blind corner on the wrong side of the road, narrowly avoiding an oncoming car.

Forcing the driver to brake sharply, the moped then swerves towards the grass verge at the last moment, as the car continues its way onto the roundabout.

The passenger on the back of the moped is also not wearing a helmet, raising the risk of serious injury even further.

The incident happened on Friday, July 27, at around 3pm.
