Staff and volunteers at a Lowestoft charity shop will head out for a special walk next weekend.
Next Saturday, June 23, staff and volunteers from the Sense store in Lowestoft town centre will embark on the walk to help raise awareness of people with complex disabilities in the community.
The initiative called 'Sense Walks' was developed by national disability charity Sense, and will see hundreds of people across England take to the streets for Deafblind Awareness Week.
Next Saturday's walk starts at 1pm at the Sense store on London Road North and will head to Claremont Pier.
Kim Stanbrook, assistant shop manager and leader of the walk, said: 'We are really excited to be taking part in 'Sense Walks' again this year for Deafblind Awareness Week, to raise awareness of people with complex disabilities in the community.
'We hope people can join us in this wonderful initiative and get to see the work we do, to raise money at the shop to support people with disabilities.'
The free walk is open to the public and those who wish to join can email Lowestoft@sense.org.uk
