A baby deer was freed after becoming stuck in railings near The Spring Tide pub in Lowestoft.
The deer was spotted at about 2pm yesterday stuck between metal railings opposite the pub on Kirkley Rise.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue were called at 2.15pm to the scene. They freed the animal which showed few signs of stress and released it back into the wild.
A spokesman said: 'One baby deer was released from the railings by using hydraulic separators. The deer was not injured and it was released without the need of the RSPCA to attend.
'It was relatively stress free and uninjured and the fire service and released it and it made on its merry way.'
