A popular theatre is planning to deliver a range of activities and workshops for carers of people living with dementia.
The Seagull Theatre in Pakefield will work in partnership with The Suffolk Community Foundation to offer numerous activities over a 12-month period.
And ahead of this, a dementia carers consultation will take place at the theatre in Morton Road on Wednesday, June 5 from 1pm to 4pm.
All carers locally, and family members of people living with dementia, are being invited to help The Seagull identify the activities and workshops which would be of most benefit.
The theatre runs a range of community oriented activities including a successful series of accessible film screenings for people living with dementia, as well as a youth theatre and arts based classes.
Theatre manager Karen Read said: "Running our accessible film screenings and hearing the stories of carers who attend, inspired us to try and find ways to offer them more support.
"We are thrilled that through our partnership with The Suffolk Community Foundation, we will be able to offer some activities and workshops, but we really want to hear from carers about what would be of most help."
