Drama as walkers rescued by lifeboat

A GROUP of walkers, who got stranded by the tides in north Suffolk, have had to be rescued.

Four men were caught out by the tides while walking at Easton Bavents late on Monday evening.

A GROUP of walkers, who got stranded by the tide in north Suffolk, have had to be rescued.

Four men were caught out by the tides while walking at Easton Bavents late on Monday evening. The coastguard was alerted and the four men had to be rescued in the drama by Southwold Lifeboat.

The lifeboat was called out at 10.30pm and the men were safely taken back to shore.
