POLICE closed off part of the A12 in north Suffolk for three hours yesterday (Wednesday) after a lorry jackknifed.
The 12-tonne Tesco lorry crashed near Wood Lane on the southbound carriageway near Benacre around 3am. But police waited until after the rush hour to close the road for recovery of the vehicle.
The road was closed in both directions, between 9.35am and 12.10pm.
Police said the driver was shaken but not believed to have been injured in the incident.
