Witnesses are being sought after a car sped away from police and travelled the 'wrong way' along a busy road in Lowestoft.
A Ford Focus was being 'driven dangerously' in Lowestoft before the vehicle was eventually in collision with a van.
A police spokesman said: 'A Ford Focus was initially stopped by police in the London Road South area about 2pm on Monday, June 26, however the car, with five people inside, then made off. The pursuit was suspended when the vehicle drove away, with the car travelling the wrong way along London Road South, and moments later it collided with a van. The car was then driven to the car park at KFC drive-thru where the driver fled. Police spoke with the other occupants of the vehicle.'
The van driver was taken to the James Paget and treated for minor injuries.
Any witnesses can call Suffolk Police on 101, quoting CAD number 259.
