E-fit issued after Lowestoft attack
POLICE have issued an e-fit likeness of a man they are keen to trace in connection with the robbery of a 56-year-old man in Lowestoft. The incident happened in Belle Vue Park at around 6.
POLICE have issued an e-fit likeness of a man they are keen to trace in connection with the robbery of a 56-year-old man in Lowestoft.
The incident happened in Belle Vue Park at around 6.30pm on Saturday, March 7.
Officers were alerted by an observant local after trouble flared in an altercation between two men. He then saw the younger man - thought to be in his 20s to early 30s - attacking the older man.
When police spoke to the 56-year-old victim he reported the younger man had threatened him and demanded he hand over his wallet. He refused and was assaulted by the attacker who stole his keys before running away.
The victim suffered a possible fractured cheekbone and bruising to the face.
