She also distributed leaflets and purse key chains to members. Molly and Maureen, who had had an Easter egg sales table at the last meeting were pleased to report they had raised £38 and thanked all contributors and buyers. The June meeting was a members' afternoon where games were played and a quiz devised by Sally White was won by Joyce Bond. The bowls group has now started playing in the Kensington Gardens on Wednesdays mornings at 10. The strawberry fair will take place on June 18 at the United Reformed Church at 2pm. Tickets can be bought at the door. The meeting closed with a raffle and the National Anthem. Next meeting, July 2 at the BT Hall; new members welcome.
