LOWESTOFT police have released an Efit of the man they want to speak to in connection with an assault on a young woman in the early hours of Friday, June 13.

The 21-year-old woman was walking home along Kimberley Road when she saw a man and a woman walking towards her.

They stopped and spoke to her, when the victim saw the man was indecently exposing himself.

She was then grabbed by the man and subsequently struck, but managed to run away towards Durban Road.

The man is described as white, around 5ft 7ins tall, of small build, possibly in his early to mid 20s, with light brown shoulder length curly hair and wearing a navy blue hooded top and dark blue denim jeans.

Officers are also urging the woman he was with to come forward, as she witnessed the incident and may also have been subject to aggression by the offender.

She is described as white, around 5ft 3ins tall, of slim build, in her late teens to early 20s, with straight brown hair in a ponytail. She was wearing a dark coloured hooded jacket and dark combat trousers.

Anyone who recognises the man in the Efit, or who has any information, should call Lowestoft CID on 01986 835300 or Crimestoppers, anonymously if required, on 0800 555 111.
