The 21-year-old woman was walking home along Kimberley Road when she saw a man and a woman walking towards her.

They stopped and spoke to her, when the victim saw the man was indecently exposing himself.

She was then grabbed by the man and subsequently struck, but managed to run away towards Durban Road.

The man is described as white, around 5ft 7ins tall, of small build, possibly in his early to mid 20s, with light brown shoulder length curly hair and wearing a navy blue hooded top and dark blue denim jeans.

Officers are also urging the woman he was with to come forward, as she witnessed the incident and may also have been subject to aggression by the offender.

She is described as white, around 5ft 3ins tall, of slim build, in her late teens to early 20s, with straight brown hair in a ponytail. She was wearing a dark coloured hooded jacket and dark combat trousers.
