Memories and experiences of wartime Britain will be shared in Lowestoft next weekend, at a bi-annual reunion of children evacuated from the region.
Lowestoft Evacuees Association will be meeting at Stella Maris Hall on Saturday, December 2, in what has become a tradition for the first weekend of the 12th month.
The event will give people who were evacuated from schools in the Lowestoft area during the Second World War the opportunity to swap stories and catch up from previous meetings.
Newcomers are also welcome to attend the reunion, with some former evacuees attending for the very first time at the last meeting in June.
The bi-annual reunion, which starts at 10.30am, will come with a buffet lunch and updates on the association itself, which was recently represented at the National Memorial Arboretum for the unveiling of a bronze memorial.
