AS part of their ongoing centenary celebrations Dell Primary School, in Lowestoft, has held a tea dance for ex-pupils and teachers.

About 36 people attended and four current members of the teaching staff were on hand to serve refreshments and chat to them.

Ruth Nixon, the current deputy head, took the guests on a tour of the school so they could see how it has evolved. Several brought old school photographs and were keen to see if any of their former classmates or colleagues would appear.

The next school event will be in September and will consist of a slide show with cheese and wine.
