A SPECIAL week of events has been hailed a success after churches in Lowestoft and Waveney joined forces to mark the run-up to Easter.
Events were organised by a partnership of local churches, as part of the mission week 'a passion for life.' And on Saturday former Ipswich Town and Northern Ireland footballer was the 'star turn' according to organisers as about 45 men enjoyed a men's breakfast session.
All enjoyed top quality bacon butties supplied by Hampers Restaurant, with Hunter - who played in the FA Cup-winning side of 1978 - bringing along his shirt and medal to prove his success.
He was interviewed by visiting Pastor Steve Wyncoll, who also gave a short gospel message.
