There is still time to visit a unique exhibition at the Ferini Art Gallery in Pakefield.

63-year old Dennis Read has created an innovative form of 3D interactive art specifically targeted at blind or visually impaired people.

Visitors to the 'Tactile Texture Art' exhibition can stroke and feel the shapes, lines and ridges he has created on his exhibits, with Mr Read emphasising how sighted people can still enjoy the experience by 'closing their eyes'.

The exhibition, which consists of 13 pieces of art, has taken about 5 months to complete.

Mr Read said: 'I want visitors to touch my art so although my work is not created solely for the visually impaired, it has a great deal to offer them.'

The exhibition runs until March 22 and the gallery is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between 11-4, although bookings are available by appointment.
