The first Lowestoft Art Group exhibition to be held at a new venue has been hailed a success.
An exhibition was held at the weekend in the new venue at the United Reformed Church, in Lowestoft town centre, attracted more than 250 visitors.
A spokesman for Lowestoft Art Group said: 'Many appreciative comments were written in the visitors' book from both local people and those from further away. Comments reflected the variety of subjects, medium, and overall pleasure at viewing the range of work on display. The Lowestoft Art Group feels that the success of the exhibition indicates the decision to move back into the town centre was the right one.'
New members are welcome to join this vibrant group. Either email www.lowestoftartgroup.co.uk or call into group meetings held on Friday evenings at the United Reformed Church in London Road North, Lowestoft at 7.30pm.
