The success of a family fun day has been hailed, after funds were raised for a primary school.
In August the Randolph Hotel in Reydon held a summer family fun day, which raised money for Reydon Primary School.
And last week a group of children from the school in Jermyns Road and the Friends of Reydon Primary went to the hotel to be presented with a cheque for £1,100. A school spokesman said: 'This was the money raised by the Randolph during their family fun day held in August.'
New owners Jenny and Gareth Knights said: 'It was easy when deciding our local charity for our first family fun day as so many of our staff including ourselves have children who attend Reydon Primary School.
'We were delighted that so many people came to support us, and we would like to say a massive thanks to everyone for helping raise such an impressive amount of money for a very worthy cause.'
