Popular film to be screened and book sale to be held

Fun for all the family will be showcased with events in Southwold next month.

There will be ‘Kidz film fun’ at Southwold Arts Centre between 10.30am and 1pm on Saturday, May 5 as Southwold Library organise film, crafts, games, art and more for children and their families.

With Shaun the Sheep (U) to be screened at the venue at St Edmunds Hall, you can make yourself some Shaun ears, craft a pompom sheep while enjoying Shaun popcorn and baa-rilliant marshmallow sheep.

Activities start at 10.30am, with tickets costing £3 for U16. Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult. Unaccompanied and additional adults cost £3 with refreshments available

On Sunday, May 6, a book sale will be held at Southwold Library in North Green. The sale runs between 2pm and 3.30pm, with visitors able to view a large selection of donated fiction, non-fiction and children’s books. For the cost of £3, visitors can fill a bag with books (bring your own bag).
