A LOCAL boy was treated to the night of his life this month when he walked onto the Wembley pitch with the England football team.
Simon Dobson won a competition on radio station Talk Sport at the beginning of the month, and his prize was four tickets to the team's game against Belarus and the chance for his son Jayden to be a mascot.
'Jayden had a great night behind the scenes and walked out onto the hallowed pitch in full England kit with Wayne Bridge,' said Mr Dobson.
'The whole family, my wife Lisa and Jayden's sister Danielle, all enjoyed the experience of watching England win their last game before heading of to the world cup.'
