Feeling blue about Christmas lights

PUBLISHED: 09:26 07 January 2008 | UPDATED: 19:22 05 July 2010

I TOTALLY agree with Lorraine Lakes about the blue Christmas lights in Lowestoft town centre.

I think they are cold, bare and unwelcoming and so are all the other silly ones around in the pavement … and the metal swans.

I can only say thank heavens for the Britten Centre putting up some lovely coloured bright welcoming lights.

This town desperately needs trade and coloured bright lights attract visitors and children to come and see them and buy.

There iss not even a coloured tree in the centre of the town, only a blue lighted imitation. Whoever thought them up must have been sad or depressed.
