A controversial planning application to build five wind turbines which will be visible across Waveney has been given the green light.
Plans for the 100m high turbines at the Bernard Matthews factory at Holton, near Halesworth, were approved by Waveney District Council's development control committee last night.
About 60 local residents and campaigners turned out for the meeting in Lowestoft to hear the final decision on the scheme, which many claim will spoil views across the Waveney Valley.
