Fines would be an insult
AFTER reading the front page story (September 4) of The Journal to say I find it insulting is an understatement.I feel that the police have overstepped the mark by saying that ordinary people will be fined if they do not allow merging before they get to the bridge and having new signs put up as well.

I feel that the police have overstepped the mark by saying that ordinary people will be fined if they do not allow merging before they get to the bridge and having new signs put up as well.
It's about time the people of this town started standing up and being counted and say 'No' to this.
Please can we have the road system looked at completely where there are two lanes going into one and can someone tell me why there is so many traffic lights in the town?
