Fire crews were sent to deal with a blaze at a coastal nature reserve.

Firefighters were called at 10.29am this morning following reports of a fire on the Gunton Warren and Corton Woods off Corton Road in Lowestoft.

One crew from North Lowestoft and another Lowestoft South were mobilised.

Firefighters remained at the scene in an attempt to halt the spread of the blaze, which was in an area of undergrowth totalling approximately 15x15m.

The scene was considered safe by 11.16am.
