Fire hits former Suffolk pub

FIRE broke out in the bedroom of a former Suffolk pub last night.

Firefighters were called to tackle a blaze in the Southwold Arms, in the High Street, just before 9pm.

Firefighters were called to tackle a blaze in the Southwold Arms, in the High Street, just before 9pm.

Two appliances attended the scene and the fire was extinguished by 9.30pm. No one was reported to be injured.
