FIREFIGHTERS from Lowestoft spent 20 minutes tackling an electrical blaze in the town.
A crew from Lowestoft were called out at 10.41pm last night (Tuesday) following reports of an 'electrical fire' in the subway between Caldecott and Holly Road in the town.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said this was a 'small fire in an electrical fitting,' with a dry powder extinguisher in use.
The blaze was quickly dealt with, as the scene was clear just after 11pm.
