Firefighters quashed a fire near Kessingland this morning.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue said around 10 tonnes of 'green waste material' was alight and spreading to nearby undergrowth.
A spokesman said the two crews, both from Lowestoft South, asked for a vehicle from Suffolk Highways to attend to gain access to the fire.
Two hose reels were used to tackle the fire, with the fire successfully out by 10am.
