Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service believe a motorcycle found on fire was set alight on purpose.
Firefighters were alerted yesterday at 7.31pm when it was reported that a motorbike situated on Corton Road in Lowestoft was ablaze.
One crew was mobilised from Lowestoft South fire station and a water backpack was then used to extinguish the fire.
The incident was brought under control and the scene made safe by 8.05pm.
The fire service believes that the fire was started deliberately and the matter has been passed on to Suffolk Police for investigation.
