Firefighters deal with caravan blaze in Lowestoft

FIREFIGHTERS spent an hour and a half tackling a blaze in a derelict caravan in Lowestoft.

Two crews from Lowestoft were called to Mutfordwood Lane in Carlton Colville at 1.26am this morning (Monday), where they discovered the derelict caravan was ablaze.

A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the blaze had been put out by 2.56am.
