Firefighters deal with kitchen blaze in Lowestoft

Firefighters quickly dealt with a blaze that broke out in the kitchen of a home in Lowestoft.

The blaze started just before 6pm yesterday (Monday) in London Road South. Two crews from Lowestoft South station were called out at 5.56pm and they had arrived at the scene within five minutes.

They quickly had the flames under control and the scene was clear by 6.20pm.
