Fire crews responded to reports of smoke coming from a house on Fallowfields, Lowestoft on Tuesday evening.
After receiving a call just after 5.30pm, one appliance from Lowestoft South and another from Lowestoft North were sent to the scene where they found a small fire in the kitchen of a property.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel jet to put out the fire by 5.55pm.
