A gorse fire is under control after Suffolk Fire and Rescue were called to a fire near Corton.
Firefighters were called to the fire in the open near Dip Farm Pitch and Putt at around 1.30pm and the blaze was under control by 3pm.
A spokesman for the fire service said: 'Approximately four hectares of gorse and undergrowth was alight. By 3.30pm the fire was alight but under control and was continuing to be monitored. Three hoses, water backpacks and beaters were used.
Three crews, two from South Lowestoft and one from North Lowestoft attended along with the police who were called to help with traffic control.
Corton Road was closed for almost an hour before being reopened at 3.15pm.
